The Gold Mercury Awards and Global Governance Summit took place in Washington D.C, U.S.A. During this event we awarded CGIAR , the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research with the Gold Mercury International Global Resources Award. The group was recognised for their success in reducing poverty and increasing food security in developing countries over the past thirty years.

The Award was presented during the CGIAR Annual Meeting, held at the Hilton Washington Hotel. Situated in one of the capitals most prestigious neighbourhoods, it is in close proximity to some of Washington D.C’s most iconic attractions such as the White House, the Lincoln Memorial and the Smithsonian Museum.
